Your Week at a Glance

The new WhispCal home shows your full week in a single strip — daily calorie rings, brief markers, and a calendar that jumps to any date. Meal planning, without scrolling.

One strip. Seven days. Everything you need.

Most tracking apps default to a single-day view. You wake up, you log, you tap to yesterday if you want context, you tap back. It's fine. It's also a lot of taps for what should be a glance.

The new WhispCal home strip puts your entire week on one row:

  • Daily calorie rings on all 7 days — at a glance, you see which days were in your target range, which leaked over, and which days felt thin.
  • Envelope markers on days where Autopilot left you a Brief — you never have to wonder if there's a check-in waiting.
  • Today, highlighted — a soft accent ring distinguishes today from past days, even before you've logged anything.

Tap any day. Jump anywhere.

Tapping a day on the strip pulls up that day's full log — meals, macros, totals, the whole picture. Tap back to today with the date pill in the header.

Need to look further back? The new calendar overlay lets you jump to any past date with one tap. Last Tuesday, last month, the start of your cut — it's all one navigation away. No paging through "yesterday, yesterday, yesterday."

Weekly averages that actually mean something

Above the strip, your weekly average calories updates as the days fill in. We made one specific choice here that took a few tries to get right: today doesn't count toward the average.

Why? Because at 9 AM you've logged breakfast and nothing else. Including today in the average would drag it down by a partial day's worth of data and make the number meaningless. So the average reflects only days that are complete — the last 6 days, or however many of them you've logged.

The result is a number you can actually use: a real reading of where your intake has been, not a half-day artifact.

Why this matters

Once your week is visible, you start thinking in weeks. You stop chasing perfect days. You see the rhythm — high logging days, low energy days, weekends that drift higher, the Tuesday when you nailed it. Patterns become obvious.

That's the entire point of tracking. Not hitting a number on a Wednesday. Seeing what your life actually looks like when you eat the way you've been eating.
