Terms of use

Short, because the app is simple. Using WhispCal means accepting what is below.

What WhispCal is, and is not

WhispCal estimates what you burn from the food you log and the weight you record, and suggests a calorie target from it. It is a tracking tool.

It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor or a dietitian. If you are pregnant, under 18, managing an eating disorder, or being treated for anything where your intake matters clinically, talk to a professional before you act on a number in this app.

Your account

One account per person, and you are responsible for what happens under it. You keep everything you log. We do not claim ownership of your data and we do not sell it.

An account can be closed at any time from inside the app, which deletes it and everything attached to it.

Subscriptions

WhispCal Pro is sold by Apple and by Google, not by us. They take the payment, set the local price, and handle renewals and refunds under their own terms.

A subscription renews until you cancel it, and cancelling is done in your Apple or Google account settings rather than in the app. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. See pricing for what each tier includes.

Availability and changes

The app is offered as it is, and we cannot promise it is never down or never wrong. Food database entries come from public and user-contributed sources and can be inaccurate; a verified marker means an entry has been checked, not that it is perfect.

These terms can change. When they do, the date on this page changes with them, and it is a real date taken from the repository rather than one typed by hand.
